Bright and Pastels

This week I decided to do something different with my nails, I was getting tired of dark colours so this week I'm wearing bright and pastel colours, this combination would be perfect for summer and spring, it doesn't really go with the weather outside but it's spring/ summer somewhere :)
I bought shipwrecked by Leighton Denny last week and I had to wear it. Its a hard colour to explain, it a bit like pistachio ice cream but brighter, the formulation is incredible and a dream to apply. It's my new love, I can't wait for spring and summer, I'm pretty sure it wont come off my nails
As my ascent nails I'm wearing Apple candy mint, which I've done enough posts about it, so go check it out :)
Would you wear shipwrecked? Let me know in the comments below.

November Wish List

After 21 days without posting I feel very weird to start again, I'm sorry I have been such a terrible blogger but trying to figure out my new schedules and trying to fit everything in my day has been crazy. The work load is starting to pile up and I usually don't have much time to post in here, I haven't even been shopping since I went back to uni ( except for a cheeky on-line haul LOL!)

So, since November is almost here I decided to share with all of you my make-up wish list.

My first two picks are Benefit Beauty Kits, I am a sucker for Benefit boxes and packaging so of course I had to include both of my favourites in here.
Number one is called go tropiCORAL and you can find it here, it is a beautiful box with Coralista blush, Coralista lipgloss, Cha Cha Tint and High Beam. I've always wanted to try Coralista blush and now Coralista lipgloss.
The second box is callled How To Look The Best At Everything - medium, I really want to try the new foundation and the primer, so I think this is a great way to experiment with them, you can get it from here.
The third item in my list is Well Rested by Bare Minerals, it has been on my list for a long time now, but I never end up buying it. I think it is great to set under eye concealer. here
Last but not least is a Butter London nail polish, I love wearing dark nail polish at this time of year and this one looks perfect for me, a bit of sparkles and it is dark. here.

Let me know in the comments below you November wish list.

NOTD: Red for Autumn

I've been seeing a lot o people wearing red this season, and this weekend I decided I wanted red and sparkles, so here are my choices: Deborah Lippmann Bad Romance and Orly Ruby.
The Orly nail polish is very creamy and super pigmented, takes a while to dry though. And Bad Romance however is not as pigmented and it definitely needs more than one coat, which I don't mind, the only thing I don't really like about this polish is that it is so hard to remove as every glittery nail polish.
I love this combination, and I am thinking about wearing it on Christmas.
What is your favourite red nail polish? Let me know in the comments below.

Top 3 blushes for autumn

As most of you probably know blushes are my favourite make-up item, so I decided to show you my 3 favourite blushes for autumn.

I like to wear darker blushes in the autumn, I don't really know why I just think it goes well with the crisp leaves and the cold weather.

(From top to bottom:Coral by Sleek Make-up, Early Morning by MAC, Sin By Nars)

My number one autumn blush is without a doubt NARS Sin, it looks amazing with a flawless base and darker lips, however I also like to wear it with nude lips. It is a purple/plum colour with gold shimmer.
My second autumn blush is Sleek Make-up in Coral, I think this blush is an all year round blush, looks great with a tan or with paler skin, as the name suggest is a coral colour and I think looks great with any skin colour. This blush has a matte finish.
And last but not least it is from a MAC Cosmetics limited edition and its called Early Morning, it is very similar to the Sleek Make-up one but I think this one is a bit darker and less coral,I think this shade is more neutral than Coral by Sleek Make-up, I don't really know how to explain this colour, it also has a matte finish.

What is your top 3 autumn blushes? Let me know in the comments below.

NOTD: Ski Teal We Drop by OPI + Unfor-Greta-bly Blue by OPI

First of all I need to apologize, this week was my first week back in University and I was struggling to get back to my routine.
So, both nail polish are amazing, the staying power is great, and both apply smoothly.
Unfor-Greta-Bly blue is from the Germany collection and as I said before I'm in love with this new collection.
Have you tried any nail polish from this collection? Would you wear blue nail polish?

Zara wish list: Autumn

I was shopping on line I came across the new collection from Zara and I fell in love, so I decided to show you my favourite pieces

1. I love wax looking jeans, but I didn't want to get the black ones because I see every one wearing them, so after I saw this dark green one I decided that it would be the one I would get. (£35.99)
2. I really want to get a floral/printed trousers but I don't know if I can pull it off, so this jeans is perfect, is is black on black so the details are not too bold and look very stylish. ( £39.99)

As always Zara's jackets are to die for, and I couldn't choose which one I like best so I'm showing you my two favourites.

3. Very structured jacket with an embellished lapel, the studs give it an edge look and because of it I love it even more. (£79.99)

4. This Jacket is my mom's favourite, I love that it is red, it can give the outfit an pop of colour still looking very chic. (£69.99)

Monday Questionnaire

So, I haven't done a Monday Questionnaire in a while and I love reading this kind of posts. Once again I got the questions from amarixe's blog, I think her questionnaires are great! Also, today has been more like a chill stay at home day, so I decided to write something more casual.

1. Mood:
Tired, last night I couldn't sleep properly and I was reading a book that I couldn't stop, so I ended up staying up until 5 am.
I'm also excited, I'm having dinner with some friends that I haven't seen in ages.

2.What is your favourite article of clothing to shop for?
Hmm, this is hard, I love buying anything but I think if I could buy just one thing I would probably buy jackets/ blazers, or shoes!

3.Three hours ago I was...
Walking around Waterstone trying to find the sequel of the book I'm currently reading

4. Current nail polish:
Ski Teal We Drop by OPI + Unfor-greta-bly Blue by OPI (NOTD will be up on Friday)

5. When was the last time you read an actual newspaper (not digital)?
I'm not sure, it's so much easier to read everything digitally nowadays, sometimes when I'm going to Central London, on the tube, I read some articles but usually I look it up on-line.

6. Current outfit:
Skinny jeans, white T-shirt and leather jacket. Need to change soon!

7. What is your natural hair texture?
Flat, wavy/straight

8. Would you rather go a week without phone or a week without computer?
I would much prefer keep my phone, I can go on the internet and do what I need to do with my computer using my phone anyway.

9. What is your favourite musical?
It is either Rent or Mamma Mia or Grease, I can't decide!

10. Weekly goals:
Enjoy my last free week

I would love to read all your answers, leave your answers down below or a link to your post.

NOTD: Berlin There Done That by OPI + Don't Pretzel My Buttons by OPI

As usual I was looking around the Internet for the autumn nail polish collections and I came across the new Germany Collection by OPI and I instantly fell in love with some colours.
The two nail polishes that I'm wearing are very neutral, Berlin That Done That is a true taupe and applies like a dream, lasted 5 days on my nails and I applied two coats.
Don't Pretzel My Buttons is a nude-beige that looks amazing on the hands, makes me look a lot tanner. This polish is a bit more sheer and you need to apply at least two coats, it also lasted 5 days and it is very easy to apply. I think I just found my favourite nude nail polish.
What is your favourite nude nail polish? Have you bought any of the Germany Collection?

Playing with Crayons

This past weekend I was watching PJ on YouTube (KickthePJ) and I came across a video of him making art with melted crayons (here) I loved the idea so much that I decided to give it a go, also my cousin just moved in to a dorm and my brother and  I thought this would be the perfect house warming gift, so we made it together.

It is very easy and fun to make. You will need a blanc canvas, Crayola Crayons, Glue ( I used No More Nails by Unibond and it worked out just fine, but PJ used hot glue), black acrylic paint, I also used  this LOVE sing made of wood and most importantly a hair dryer.
You will just need to glue the crayons to the top of the canvas and use a hair dryer to melt them, and the you are done.
I do recommend using old newspaper and plastic bags so I wouldn't make a colourful mess.

I love how it turned out, and I also love that is something personal.
I think this would be a great idea to give it to parents that work in offices and places with a lack of colours.
Have fun melting crayons :)
Do you like this idea? Do you ever give presents that you make?  Let me know in the comments below.

Is it worth the hype? Wet n Wild walking on Eggshells trio

After hearing all the good things about Wet n Wild eye shadows I decided it was time for me to get an eye shadow trio.
I went with the safe bet and got one with neutrals colours, however there are tons of options if you are more daring than me.

All three eye shadows have amazing pigmentation, they are very soft and buttery, so for that reason there are fall outs, which I don't really mind.
They lasted all day on my eyelids but I was wearing a primer underneath the eye shadows.

(natural light. No primer)

The only down fault of this trio is that all three eye shadows are very shimmery, I would like to have a matte crease colour or a highlighter.
Wet n Wild is not sold in the UK, so I bought this trio from Ebay, link here.
Do I think it's worth the hype? Absolutely, I'm going to buy more Wet n Wild eye shadows, the quality is great and it's very cheap.
Have you tried Wet n Wild products? What do you recommend?  Let me know in the comments below.

B's thoughts: Twist band.

I've been looking for a hair tie that doesn't damage my hair for the last year or so, I was previously wearing the ones with a metal attached to it and every time after using it for a long period of time  I could feel my hair breaking and getting frizzy .
So, after talking to my hair stylist she recommended the twist band, after hearing she talking about it I decided to give it a go.

I'm so glad I decided to buy it, I can now see how good this hair tie is, it doesn't damage my hair because of the soft fabric and looks super cute!
I ordered a pack with 15 hair ties from a Etsy store called BePampered, you can choose different colours and prints, and you can also choose how many you would like in a pack. It is a bit more expensive than the normal hair ties but I would gladly repurchase it.

So, what do you think about it? Would you buy it? Let me know in the comments below.

NOTD: You Don't Know Jacques by OPI + Vampsterdam by OPI

First of all, I'm sorry for being absent, I just been busy but I'm for now on I will do my best to post regularly.
So, that is out of the way, I'm here with another Nail of the day, it's been so cold in England and it is starting to look like fall, so I decided it's time to wear dark nail polish. (yay!)
I am not a fan of cold temperature but I love autumn, just makes me happy, is that weird?
Anyway, You Don't Know Jacques is one o my favorites dark nail polishes and I thought it would be perfect to start autumn with it. Vampsterdam is a new addition to my collection and at first I didn't think I would like it, but i turn out to love it!
And again I applied two coats each, and I don't think I could get away with only one, it first applies very streaky and sheer, but after the second coat it looks awesome!
What is your favorite dark nail polish? Let me know in the comments below.

NOTD: turquoise and Caicos by Essie + Knackered by Butter London

As you've probably seen I love to combine Knackered by Butter London with blue/ green nail polishes, but this time I add one coat of it over Turquoise and Caicos by Essie, so I could get a different effect and I actually like this way better!
This combination looks even better against my tanned hands, and I've been wearing a lot this summer!
Both nail polishes are very easy to apply and I could get away with applying only one coat of the Essie polish, but I like to apply two coats, so I can make sure every single nail is opaque.
Do you like it? Would you wear it? Let me know in the comments bellow.

Is it worth the hype? Benefit They're Real mascara

I know I'm a bit late with this one, but I decided to post it anyway. I wasn't going to buy this mascara at first because it is a bit expensive and I know I can find mascaras just as good on the drugstore, however last week I was walking around with some friends and we decided to look around benefit and I thought I would give it a try.
Also after seeing the reviews both positive and negative about it I thought I would try so I could give you guys my review.
Bad Gal mascara from Benefit is one of my all time favourite mascaras and I didn't think this would be as good, but fortunately I was wrong, this mascara became one of my favourite mascaras ever, but I could see why people don't like it as much. The only two points that I'm not a fan is the tip of the brush, it accumulates a lot of product and could make my eyelashes stick together, another negative point is definitely the price tag, retailing for £18.50.
(one coat. I did not curl my eyelashes before applying mascara.)

So, do I think this is worth the hype? Yes, absolutely.
Have you ever tried this mascara? Do you like it?

B's thoughts: LUSH No Drought Dry Shampoo

When I first saw this at LUSH I was very excited to try, and after seeing some review on-line I started to get even more excited, so after a while debating if I would purchased or not I decided to give it a try.

So, after months scared of it I decided to take it to Malta with me, I thought it was a good idea at first but after going through the airport security with this bottle full of white powder in my backpack and the airport guy staring at me like I was the weirdest person ever I realised it wasn't very clever of me.
However, the situation did not improve when I realised I did not have any backup in case I didn't like this product , and for my luck that was exactly what happen, I didn't like it then and don't like it now!
First of all I don't like the idea of putting a white powder all over my dark hair, I have to say that is not what I don't like about this product, actually the powder is very fine so I could not see any residues after I massage it in. What I don't like it is how my hair feels and looks after using it.It gives a very matte finish and my hair feels very sticky, and at the end of the day my hair looks very oily.
However it smells great but not an overpowering smell.
Have you tried it? Do you like it or not? Let me know in the comments below

NOTD: Red Lights Ahead...Where? By OPI and Bronze by Nail Girls

I'm back! I had a lot of fun on my holidays but I also missed blogging like crazy!
Anyways, after I came back my nails were in a horrific state, so yesterday I decided to do something different and that was what I came up with.
Both nail polishes are a dream to apply and they clean up very easily too. I could have applied one coat each but I always like to apply them twice.
First I was a bit unsure about the colour combination, but I now I'm in love with it!
Do you guys like the colour combination? Have you ever tried any nailgirls nail polihes? Let me know in the comments bellow

Fairy Lights

I have been eyeing fairy lights for my room for a while, but I could never find one that was reasonably priced, and I could not pay for something that I know that I can make something similar and cheaper. so after seeing this picture I decided I would give it a try.

And it turns out it is not so complicated, You will need origami paper (£6.75) and I got some Christmas light from last year.
I have to say that the picture above look much better than mine, but I'm happy with it.
( I made holes in the bottom because the paper is very thick)

Would you try making it?

Is it worth the hype? Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Lip Balms

As I said on my Monday's post I was browsing around Boots and I realised that the new Just Bitten Kissable Lip Balms were out, and after seeing/reading a lot of reviews about them I wanted to try them out too.
(Natural light. From left to right: Darling, Rendezvous, Lovesick)

If you are unfamiliar with this product, they are lip stain and lip balm together, when you first apply they fell like the lip butters however they last longer, the lighters lip products doesn't stain as well as the darker/ brighter one. They are extremely easy to apply and they smell/taste like mint.
After the disappointment of the Lip Butter I was hoping they were as good as people were saying they were, but I can honestly say that they are defiantly better than the Lip Butters. I would recommend them.
Have you tried them? Do you like them? Let me know in the comments below.

NOTD: Fiji by Essie and Gold by Nailgirls

I'm on my way to the airport right now and I decided to show you my nails, I think it is just perfect for holidays. It is very simple but the gold just gives a pop of glamour!
Fiji by Essie is a bit streaky but with two coats looks fine. The Gold nail polish is super easy to work with, I could've applied only one coat, but I like to apply two coats.
What is your favourite nail polish for summer holidays? Let me know in the comments below.

B`s thought: Revlon Photoready Cream Blush

About a week ago I was browsing around Boots and came across the new collection of cream blushes from Revlon, The new collection contains 3 cream blushes but as usual the Boots I was in only had one.
(Natural light. Cream Blush in Flushed Rouginssant 200)

This blush looks very natural when blended but it can also be worn more heavily. When applied to the skin it goes more like a powder and the finish is matte, which I like specially for summer as my skin is already oily.
My favourite way to apply it is with my finger but when it is applied with a stippling brush looks lovely as well.
I like Revlon Photoready products because it lasts a long time, even with cream products like this one. This blush has became my favourite cream blush and it's already on my suitcase.
I would like to try the others blush from this collection, they look great!
What is your favourite cream blush? Let me know in the comments below.

Look for less - Hanna Marin- Pretty Little Liars.

I haven't done a post like this one in a long time, also I haven't done a fashion post in a while now and I really  miss them!
So, today I'm showing you an outfit that Hanna wore a few episodes back, I love this trend of wearing cute short shorts with a blazer/jacket.

I love Hanna's style, she is always put together and always so fashionable, I would love to dress like her, sometimes I try buy most of her outfits, but they are too much for myself.
Hanna's outfit is not super expensive but we can always get a similar and spend less.
Her jacket is from Zara (£89.99) but if you don't want to spend that much in a jacket I would suggest this H&M yellow jacket (£29.99) or this Dorothy Perkins (£40.00). The white top can be from anywhere, just a normal fitted tank top, the one she's wearing is from American Appeal.
The necklace is from Urban Outfitters, I couldn't find on the website but a few months ago I got a similar one from Topshop.
Last but not least her shorts are from Joie ($92.00) but I would go for this ones from zara for £12.99.

I absolutely love this outfit, do you? would you wear it? Let me know in the comments below.

B`s thoughts: LUSH Jumping Juniper shampoo bar

As I'm leaving next week to Malta for my holidays and I need all the space I can get on my little plastic bag I thought it would be a good idea if I didn't need to put a shampoo in there, so I had two options: I could buy a shampoo once I'm there or buy a solid shampoo. I decided to give the LUSH shampoo bar a go.

It smells like lavender, I personally don't like it but the smell is not very strong and not overpowering, I couldn't smell it after washing it.
At first it was a little scary to use, it feels like soap and the thought of washing my hair with soap is terrifying, but after rubbing it on my hands it started  to lather it felt like liquid shampoo, I washed my hair as I usually do.
I really like this, it cleans my hair very well and makes it shiny and bouncy, however I need to use a conditioner after using it.
The girl in the LUSH store said this particular shampoo is good for people with oily hair, so if you hair is dryer I would recommend you to choose another one.
She also said that it lasts up to 1000 washes, I can't say if it does because it's the first time I bought it.

It can be purchased in any LUSH store or on the website. (£5.22).
Have you ever tried any LUSH shampoos bar? Which is your favourite?

Monday Questionnaire

Today is a lazy Monday, so I decided I wanted to do either a TAG or a Monday Questionnaire, so I thought I would do this one.( Original post. )
(Sneak peak of my next project)

Mood:
In a weird one, I don't know what it is but I feel like I'm agitated, need to do something!

Can you parallel park?
I'm defiantly not good at it, but I can and also I need some time to get it done haha!

Current nail polish:
I was wondering if I should do a NOTD post about it, its very similar to one I've done in the past (see it here), but it is using apple candy mind by Essie and blueberry ice cream by BarryM.

What is your all time favourite TV show?
My  all time favouriteTV show is defiantly LOST, but I've been loving PPL,Vampire Diaries and Revenge.

Current outfit:
As I said before is a lazy monday, so I'm wearing Levi's dark wash  skinny jeans with a plain white T and a grey Jumper. ( can you believe that is July and cold in the UK? so annoying)

What is your natural hair texture/ style?
My hair is in between wavy and straight, thin.

Where would your dream honeymoon be?
A beautiful and romantic beach that neither of us have been, I think somewhere in Thailand.

Weekly goals:
Put up more posts, start my project and enjoy my friends!

I would like to know your answers, so leave them bellow.

Is it worth the hype?

People on the YouTubeland and beauty-blogland have been raving about both of these products, so I decided to try both of them out.
First of all I need to say that they are good products and they do a good job! However after reading and watching some reviews I thought they were miracles in bottles, and that's defiantly not the case.
My personal favourite is Bioderma Sebium H2O, I like that is a gentle make-up remover and I can easily take my eye make-up off even if I am wearing waterproof mascara and it does not sting my eyes, and after I started using it my skin has never been better.
I do also like the clean skin 5-in-1 water by This Works, but every time I take my eye make-up off it makes my eyes burn a little bit, and I don't see any improvement on my skin after using it.
Another plus side is that Bioderma Sebium H2O is cheaper, but it is very hard to find in the UK, I always buy it from Ebay.
Overall do I think they are worth the hype? As I said before they are not miracles but they work so I would say yes, they are worth the hype!
This Works Clean Skin 5-in-1 water (£21)
Bioderma Sebium H2O (£10.45)

What is your favourite make-up remover? Let me know in the comments below.

DIY: Friendship Bracelet

I love the arm candy or arm party trend, but it can get expensive to buy new bracelets, and after seeing a lot of bracelets I decided to make my own. It is easy, cute and inexpensive.

You will need beads, hemp cord, buttons , scissors and stick tape. ( you can get the hemp cord and the beads from Ebay).
Step 1: Measure you wrist with the hemp cord, leaving more hemp cord than your wrist size.
Step 2: Take four times your wrist size with some excess cord.
Step 3: Make a loop for the button.
Step 4: Cut the extra string.
Step 5: Star braiding.
Step 6: Once you braided about three time, put one bead in each side, leaving the middle one with nothing. Continue braiding and adding the beads.
Step 7: When you are happy with the length, add the button and make some nots. And you are done!

Do you like this trend?Let me know down bellow. If you make any bracelets I would love to see so send me a picture on my email: thegreyclover@gmail.com

B's Thoughts: Veet Suprem'Essence Hair Removal Cream

Today I'm talking about an awkward subject, body hair, Anyway I've been using this product for about 2 months now, and I feel that now I can do a review for you guys. I usually shave my legs every other day, basically every time I wash my hair.

With this product I do think I don't need to shave as often, I probably use it about once a week, it is not harder or easier to use than shaving with a razor, it's actually the same thing and takes the same amount of time to do it, the only plus is that it lasts longer.
The only down side this hair removal  is the smell, it absolutely stinks! I would defiantly recommend taking a shower after you have used it, because the smell lingers and I don't think any of you want to stink
If you shave every day, or every other day and you don't mind the smell I would recommend this product.

Have you tried this products? Have you ever tried any Veet products? Let me know in the comments below

NOTD: Just Spotted the Lizard! By OPI

Today I went to watch the new spider man film, so I decided to do a NOTD post with one of the spider man collection.
Just Spotted the Lizard is a dupe for Chanel Peridot 531, so if you were eyeing the Chanel nail polish I suggest you to check this one out.
This nail polish needs two coats to get to a nice colour, but it looks less green and more gold in the nails. I love this nail polish and when I was wearing it I had so many complements, the only down side is that it chips easily and it is not long wearing.
What is your current nail polish? Would you wear this nail polish?

(excuse my chipped nails, I accidentally deleted the original picture, so I took this one instead)

Monday Questionnaire

I haven't done a Monday Questionnaire in a while, and I really wanted to post something different today so I was looking for some tag to do then I decided that I prefer doing a Monday Questionnaire again, so went to amarixe blog I chose another one. So here it is!

1)Mood:
I am feeling lazy, should be going to the gym soon but I just want to stay home watching YouTube videos and TV.

2)Did you do anything fun this weekend?
I went shopping and then dinner with some friends on Friday, then on Saturday I went dress shopping with another friend because we have a party to go to next weekend, and finally on Sunday I stayed at home and enjoyed my brother's company.

3)What is the closest object to you that is pink?
My pyjamas bottom :)

4)Current nail polish
A NOTD coming soon, I'm wearing Just Spotted the Lizard! by OPI

5)If you could snap your finger and be anywhere in the world right now, where would you go?
Hmm, that's a hard question because I want to go everywhere but I guess I would go to Corfu with my friend again, it's one of my favourites places and I would love to go back.

6)Current Outfit:
Pyjamas bottom and GAP t-shirt. Lazy day outfit!

7)What is the last movie you saw in theatres?
Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter. I think it's a great film and would recommend it!

8) If you could only be one age for the rest of your life, which would you choose, and why?
I don't know how to answer this question, I think you should enjoy every age and phase of your life but if I had to answer it, would say around 23. It's not too old nor too young.

9)Weekly goals:
Post more often, fix my car and enjoy myself !

I would love to see how you answer these questions, so if you do please let me know.
Amarixe's post here.

Friday 29 June 2012

Products I regret buying.

As most of you do, I buy a large quantity of products, more than is considered normal. I do my researches before buying something, but sometimes I hate the product. When this happens I usually give it away to someone that might like it, with that said I sometimes accumulate some stuff that I don't enjoy and don't think any one would.
I am not saying these are horrible products and wouldn't work if you tried them, they just don't work for me.
After seeing 3-days straight by John Frieda everywhere and everyone raving about it I decided to buy it, and I don't think it works the way everyone was saying it did, and every time I try to use this product I just leaves my scalp very itchy. A similar thing happens when I use the TRESemme Iron Style and Hold Spray, I do think this works but I can't bear the itchy feeling.
A sample of Weleda One-Step Cleanser and Toner came in a GlossyBox a while ago, in the beginning I really liked it, after buying the full size it started braking me out, so I stopped using it and gave it to my brother and he loves it.
The product I most regret buying is MAC Select SPF 15 Foundation, it is such a thick foundation that even if I use the minimal possible amount of product it still looks like a mask, I also hate the smell, it is a very strong smell of paint, and I hate the shade, the girl in the MAC store matched me with a very orange shade and after a few hours it becomes even more orange. I absolutely hate this foundation!
Another product I think its too orange is the Bourjois Delice de Poudre bronzing powder, also the chocolaty smell is too strong for my liking.
The last bronzing product is Glam Bronze Blonde Harmony by L'Oreal, I just find it too light for my skin tone and not enough pigmentation.
The Falsies Volum'Express mascara just doesn't work for me, it clamps all my lashes to together.
The next two products are pratically the same, they are two cream eye shadows by Illamasqua. if you don't mind creasing it would work for you. Even when I set them with a powder they crease like crazy.
Last but not least is the KickAss Concealer by Soap&Glory, It is such a thick concealer that I can't work with it, they crease under the eyes and the shades are too pink and/or too yellow for my skin tone.

My top 10 lip products for the summer

Summer is finally here, even though it is cold and rainy out side. I decided to do a top 10 lip products for the summer  so I could get more excited and pretend we are having a real summer.
In the summer time I don't really like to wear too much make-up, however I love doing a fresh face with a bold/bright lip, looks really put together and I can still have some fun with my make-up. I also picked some neutrals and not so bold colours for this top 10, I prefer wearing them during the day and the bright colour to go out at night.
(from right to left: Chanel Glossimer numeber 131, BarryM Lip Gloss number 11, OCC Lip Tar Divine, Lush Lip Tint It Started With A Kiss, Revlon Just Bitten Lipstain Flame, Nars Velvet Gloss Lip Pencil Mexican Rose, NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream Addis Ababa, MAC Ever Hip, Revlon Lip Butter  Cotton Candy and Rimmel Spotlight Beige)
I picked up some different textures for this post, but usually I wear Lipstains more often than anything else, they last a long time on the lips and I don't need to touch up very often.
My favourite of the bunch is NARS Velvet Gloss Lip Pencil in Mexican Rose, the colour is just stunning and even though doesn't say it is a stain but last a VERY long time on the lips still being moisturising.
What is your top 10 lip products for the summer? Do you prefer bright colours or neutrals ? Let me know in the comments below.

NOTD: Number One Nemesis by OPI

Today has been a very lazy day, about 10 minutes ago I finished decorating the box I'll put my friends birthday present on it, and decided to paint my nails and I really wanted to wear one of the new nail polishes I got. My choice was Number One Nemesis, this polish is on the thicker side but still cheer, which is very strange.
I like it more on the bottle than on my nails. It is not the easiest nail polish to apply but I can work with it.
I'm glad I didn't buy the full size but I'm also glad I got it :)
Have u tried any nail polish from the Spider man collection? Let me know on the comments below

My hair care routine

I know I haven't post in here in a while now but I do have an excuse: tomorrow is my last exam and I've been revising like crazy and I can't wait to be free and enjoy the sun with my friends.
Anyway, I feel like I finally found the products that work for my hair and decided to share with you, maybe they work for someone else too.
First of all  I should tell you how my hair is and usually behaves. So, my hair is and straight/wavy, oily around the roots and very dry at the ends. I wash my hair every other day.
For shampoo and conditioners I like to use Andrew Collinge Puritty Volume Therapy, It is great for people that need a bit of volume but not crazy 80's hair.
After I wash my hair twice with the shampoo I use Aussie Miracle Moist conditioner, makes my hair soft but I don't think its enough for my hair, I rinse it after a few seconds, (£4.49). My next step in the shower is to apply my Joico K-pak Reconstroctor at the ends of my hair and leave it in for around 5 minutes, with the extra help my hair feels silk and smooth.(£14.95)
Before I blow-dry my hair I apply KMS Free Shape hot flex spray (£12.76) as a heat protector. When my hair is dried I put the Mythic Oil on the ends of my hair (£12.71) and then I spray Neal and Wolf Glow all over my hair, this is the best shine spray I have ever used, very fine mist.
For treatment, once every two weeks I like use Kerastase Aqua-Oleum (£22.27), I have written a blog post about this product and the Joico K-pak,( here)

When I go out and need my hair to stay put all night/day long I like to wear TRESemme salon finish extra hold, I really like this hair-spray, it does the job and doesn't smell weird like the Elnett one.
For the days when I don't want to wash my hair and it feels a bit dirty I like  to wear a dry shampoo and the one I am wearing at the moment is Batiste Dry Shampoo (£3.99), however I am not a fan. It does the job but leaves my hair feeling very powdery. I'm in a hunt for a new dry-shampoo, so if you have any recommendations leave them below in the comments. I am tempted to buy the new Lush one, Have you tried it yet?
